Goose Glove Puppet Pattern

Have you played Untitled Goose Game (you should)? Or just enjoy geese? Then this simple glove is for you. Make mischief around your neighborhood with a goose glove puppet (which is ultimately more fun than making mischief without one.)

Free Goomba Amigurumi and Christmas Boot Crochet Pattern

I love these goofy guys from the Mario series. I especially love how much more personality they have in Mario Odyssey, stacking them up to see the girl goombas, etc. Too cute! So I made some goomba stacks of my own, as well as a Christmas Boot (throwback to the green boot from NES Mario games).
Without further ado, here's a free pattern!

Bristlebud from Ooblets Pattern

Have you heard about Ooblets? Per their website, "Ooblets is an upcoming farming, creature collection, and town life indie game inspired by Pokémon, Harvest Moon, and Animal Crossing. Manage your farm, grow and train your ooblets, explore strange lands, and battle wild ooblets and other ooblet trainers." Creature collection?? I'm in! And as you know I'm in love with cacti (fortunate since I live in the desert). So when I saw Bristlebud, I fell in love and had to make one. If you feel the same, here is a pattern to make your own. This one is not as easy as my other patterns, so take it slow and feel free to comment here or on Facebook if you need some help!

Free Cactus Pattern

Hello everyone!
I just finished another mini con at the library and I brought these cute cacti with me. They were very popular and received a lot of compliments. (The cacti were very humble about the whole thing). Here is the pattern to make your own! It's very quick and easy once you understand back loops vs front loops.

Charmander Pokemon Crochet Pattern

These Charmanders are stocking stuffers for a class at a local school who were in need of some cheering. I specifically designed them to be easy to make and easy to give away.

I wanted a quick, cute, and efficient Pokemon pattern. Something that kids would recognize, or if they didn't know Pokemon, would still like. Oddish, Poliwag, Voltorbs, all those round, easier Pokemon were a no-go. I finally settled on Charmander. Even if you didn't know or like Pokemon, he could still be thought of as a dragon or dinosaur. Also, he is DARLING so there.

So after creating NINE of him and tweaking the pattern over and over, here it is! His body and head are connected, saving some time. I did some facial sculpting just by weaving yarn back and forth through his eye sockets, but if you like the straight forward approach you can omit that.

Punkin Pumpkin Pattern

I love Halloween, October, autumn, pumpkin-cinnamon-apple-caramel flavored things, and busting out the decorations this time of year. Here's a small one you can whip up rather quickly! I've been working on this pattern for a while, actually, but could never get a consistent result. They ended up being too squashed (puns!) looking, too round like an orange, too wide of a mouth, etc etc. Finally, I downsized it and made a pattern that works time after time. Please let me know if you find any errors or have any questions. Enjoy!

Horsea Pokemon Pattern

I think making Pokemon is the only thing keeping me from crocheting all things Halloween right now. For those of you that think August is too early for Halloween crafts, I have a more "summery" pattern for you.

Machop Pattern

I joined the #CrochetGo movement last week and have been having lots of fun making Pokemon for others to find in parks and such. Someone requested a Machop, so here is my pattern for him. Please note that this is NOT a beginner pattern and involves some advanced techniques.

Owl Purse Pattern

Whoooo needs an owl purse free pattern? My daughter likes to wear her purse when going out to just carry random toddler junk. A plastic dinosaur, a used sticker, some rocks, you know, important things to bring to Target every trip.

You can easily crochet a longer strap and make one for yourself as well! I made some really long ones and knotted the extra at the top just in case. Please make sure you don't give these to unsupervised LITTLE little kids, it could be a strangling hazard.

Moving on, these purses are quick to make (about an hour) and turn out pretty fool proof. Accidently did too many rows of one color? Missed an increase? Probably NO ONE will notice! I made the first four purses without writing down the full pattern before I finally sat down and made decisions on when to change colors etc. So you can tweak it to your liking!

Again, I feel like I'm too wordy in my patterns, so please contact me if it doesn't make sense! You can email me at thecraftzilla@gmail.com or message me on Facebook.

You can download the pattern PDF via Google Drive HERE!

Birds and Booths

Phew, I finally did it! I had my first ever booth at a convention.
Okay, okay, so it was the teeniest tiniest convention ever at my cute local library, but I still had fun.
Speaking of fun, check out these awesome birbs I whipped up. Seriously, it's an awesome and quick pattern.

Baby Articuno Pattern

Every month has had a Legendary Pokemon assigned to it by Nintendo for their anniversary. Word is that bird is the word for this month. ;) Kind of. At some point some special versions of the legendary birds--Zapdos, Articuno, & Moltres-- will be available for download. So I'm following that up with a free Articuno pattern for download!

Slime Pattern from Stardew Valley

Aaaaand I made another Stardew Valley pattern. This one is very simple and quick to whip up on your own, so I will write it directly here rather than doing a PDF.

Junimo Pattern from Stardew Valley

I received Stardew Valley for my birthday and it is really all I can think about right now. I'm playing at a very slow pace since I only get about an hour of playtime a day (after Emmy is asleep and the house is clean etc etc). But I can feel that I am so very, very addicted. After all, I loved the heck out of Harvest Moon 64 and Animal Crossing--so this is right up my alley.

The pattern is available on my Instagram HERE.

Ghost Applique Pattern

I have a new pattern! It's a simple, but fun one.

These ghost appliques whip up quick. I used one on Emmy's seed stitch headband, but I've been making more while watching spooky movies to put on gift bags, cards, treat plates, and even maybe make a whole banner of them.

Rainbow Unicorns

There is a fantastic way to spread kindness throughout the world, and that is with rainbow unicorns!

A precious little girl in our community, Kiera, passed away earlier this year from the flu unexpectedly. Kiera was a bright and happy girl that loved rainbow unicorns. After her passing, her family started up Kiera's Kindness. The idea is you get a rainbow unicorn, do an act of kindness with the unicorn (and take a photo and share it on social media!) , and pass the unicorn on to someone else with the challenge to do a kindness. It's sort of a pay it forward thing. :)

So with her on my mind, I made this lil' gal.

I have yet to decide what kindness to send her out to the world with, but she'll be on her way soon! I hope she travels around a lot. Or, if she just ends up with one person and makes them happy, that's fine too.

This unicorn was made with Little Yarn Friend's pattern. Instead of using the pattern's mane and tail, I did a few rounds of loop stitches in an oval for her mane. I latch hooked the yarn into her tail and braided it.
I really love how it turned out with the yarn I used. Garth says it looks like a pinata unicorn. :)

If you can't crochet, don't worry! On Kiera's Kindness' page you can purchase a "challenge rainbow unicorn" easily to pass around with an act of love. :)

Hope you all are doing well and receive some kindness today. <3
