Round 1) 6 sc in mc (6)

R4) Sc, sc, inc* x 6 (24)
R5-8) Sc around (four rounds) (24)

Place eyes approximately between row 5-6, about 1 full sc apart.
Begin stuffing
R10) Sc, dec* x 6 (12)
R11) Dec every stitch (6)
Fasten off, leave tail of yarn. Using yarn needle, weave tail of yarn through the last rounds front loops, pull tight to close. ( I then like to make a knot, then plunge the needle into the body of the plush, out the other side, then trim the tail so that it is “lost” inside the plush.)
Shoes
In red yarn
Worked in a spiral
Round 1) 6 sc in mc (6)
R2) inc, inc, inc, sc, sc, sc (9)
R3) Inc, inc, inc, 6 sc (12)
R4) In back loops only, 8 sc, then 4 hdc (12)
R5) *sc, dec* x 4 (8)
Fasten off, leave tail for sewing onto the body. Lightly stuff. Flatten the shoe so the HDC is the front/toe part of the shoe.
Sew onto body of Kirby evenly so that he can stand on his own, about approximately on either side of the body’s round 11.
Hands
